  Role & responsibilities

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, an NTTF PG Diploma or closely related field from an accredited university.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical design principles, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in at least one major CAD software package e.g., CATIA V5/V6, UG NX, etc.,
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated passion for the automotive industry and powertrain technology.
  • 3D CAD Modeling: Develop and modify complex 3D CAD models of powertrain components and assemblies
  • 2D Engineering Drawings: Create 2D engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances (GD&T)
  • Design Support: Assist senior engineers in design concept development, packaging studies, and integration of various powertrain subsystems.
  • Data Management: Manage CAD data within product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, ensuring proper version control, release, and archival of engineering documents.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and engineering change requests (OPD Notices).
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest CAD software features, design methodologies, and powertrain technologies.
