Job Description Mechanical Engineer (Fresher)

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Fresher

Location: Sriperumbudur

Experience: 0–1 year

Employment Type: Full-Time

Industry: [Manufacturing / Automotive / HVAC / EPC / Machinery / Any other]

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical components and systems.
  • Support senior engineers in preparing CAD models, engineering drawings, and documentation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks, inspections, and troubleshooting of machinery/equipment.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and operations departments for smooth project execution.
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, engineering best practices, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain project reports, logs, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (Thermodynamics, SOM, Fluid Mechanics, Manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo (any one).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work on-site/in shifts (if required).

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

  • Internship experience in manufacturing/mechanical industry.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines, GD&T, HVAC, PLC basics, or industrial safety.

Salary Range

  • 2.5lpa per annum (based on skills and interview performance)
