TNPSC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for TNPSC:

• Must possess B.L., Degree of any University or Institution accredited by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grant;

• Must be a member of the Bar and have worked actively in criminal courts for at least five years.

Age Limit for TNPSC: (As on 01.07.2025)

• For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs Applicants – Minimum – 26 Years, Maximum Age – No Maximum Age limit

• Others (Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs) – Minimum – 26 Years, Maximum Age – 36 Years

Pay Scale for TNPSC:

1. Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade – II – Level 22 (CPS)

• Preliminary Examination

• Main Examination

• One Time Registration Fee –  Rs.150/-

Interested and qualified to apply, candidates must go to the TNPSC website (https://tnpsc.gov.in/) and complete the online form. Online registration will open on 02.12.2025 and end on 31.12.2025.
